http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2944315/U-turn-police-force-says-chief-constable-investigation-handling-sex-abuse-allegations-WON-T-quit.html- Oh this is exquisite. Geenty, after 'considerable soul-searching', feels confident that his much welcomed departure 'is the right thing for me to do'. Rousing cheers can be heard across the county from Swindon to Salisbury. Spontaneous street-parties expressing joy at the news are being organised by ecstatic cops in Chippenham and Marlborough. Without a doubt Pat, this is the best decision you have made since, well, the last time you made a good decision, whenever that was . . ! Just one of the many comments…

Police officers remain at the scene of the shooting in Hersden A man has been shot by a police officer after a woman was stabbed at a house. Kent Police negotiators and firearms officers were called to Hersden, near Canterbury, at 23:20 GMT on Sunday. A young woman inside the house had been stabbed and a 40-year-old man was shot by a police officer. Both are in hospital in a critical condition. Police said they were members of the same family. The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). 'Two shots' The IPCC confirmed its investigators had been sent to the scene. Peter Johnson, who lives opposite the property, said he thou…

Police Scotland has reneged on a commitment to abolish stop searches on young children, according to data obtained by BBC Scotland. Assistant Chief Constable Wayne Mawson told a Holyrood committee in June that the "indefensible" practice of consensual searches on children under the age of 12 would be scrapped. Since then, 356 children have been searched by police. Two thirds of these searches were consensual, and 91% recovered no items. Following the publication of these figures, the Scottish Liberal Democrat justice spokesperson Alison McInnes announced she would be seeking to recall Mr Mawson to the justice committee. She said: "People deserve to know why Poli…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2941426/British-intelligence-threatens-stop-sharing-information-Germany-continues-make-secret-GCHQ-documents-public.html It is pretty clear that The German Woman wants to dominate Europe and this story suggests that she wants to harm UK's (& USA's) defences by gaining secret information. It is interesting that the Head of the BND is trying to persuade politicians not to pursue their demands. It is also interesting to note that Merkel has managed to get her proxies to be the ones pushing for disclosure - a very Communist way of doing things, similar to the old KGB using its proxies, the Stasi in East Germany and the STB in…

Police helicopters are currently operated from 20 bases in England and Wales One-third of police helicopter bases in England and Wales could be closed because of government funding cuts, the BBC has learned. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) is considering plans to reduce the number of its bases from 20 to 15. There are currently plans for three more to be made available by September 2016, taking the total to 23. But the accountable manager for the NPAS said "difficult decisions" had to be made because of funding cuts. 'Difficult decisions' The NPAS was launched in October 2012 to co-ordinate the deployment of police helicopters, which were then operated by i…

Police said the group covered their faces and threw bottles at officers An 18-year-old man was stabbed during a mass brawl involving a "volatile" group of 30 people in east London. Officers called to Chatsworth Road, Hackney, on Saturday night were threatened by the group and attacked with bottles, Met Police said. The injured man was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition. An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon and affray. 'Volatile crowd' A Met Police spokesman said officers had faced "continuing threats from a volatile crowd". He said the group "covered their faces…
