    Two men have been charged after a National Crime Agency investigation identified firearms being brought into the UK through the fast parcel system. Officers arrested Dashan Caines, 44, from Sutton Coldfield, and Keston Joseph, 31, from Coventry, on Thursday (5 March). Both men were charged with conspiracy to supply firearms into the UK. The NCA investigation started after Border Force officers seized firearms and ammunition at a parcel hub in the Midlands on 24 January.     A seafood salesman has been sentenced after smuggling an estimated 5.3 million critically endangered baby European eels to East Asia via the UK. Gilbert Khoo, aged 67, from Parbury Rise, Chessington, received a two-year suspended sentence today at Southwark Crown Court for six offences relating to the illegal importation and movement of the rare elvers.     Four men have been arrested as part of a National Crime Agency investigation into a crime group suspected of transporting migrants from the continent into the UK in the back of lorries. The arrests followed the discovery of 10 migrants in a lorry carrying a load of tyres near Ghent in Belgium on Thursday 5 March. The migrants, believed to be two adults and eight juveniles, are thought to be from south east Asia.     A car tradesman who was caught trying to smuggle £1.1 million worth of cocaine into the UK has been jailed for nine years. Abdullah Iqbal, aged 33, from Liverpool, was today (Tuesday 3 March) found guilty of importing a class A drug following a trial at Canterbury Crown Court.     The alleged ringleader of a cocaine trafficking group that expected to bank more than £1 million every month has been arrested in Spain after more than six years on the run. Dominic McInally, 29, from Formby, Merseyside, was arrested when officers from the Spanish National Police raided the Casa Masa strip club, near Marbella, in the early hours of 28 February.     More than 60 firearms have been stopped from reaching the streets of Scotland in just over a year, thanks to the work of a joint team of National Crime Agency and Police Scotland investigators. Since December 2018 the Organised Crime Partnership (Scotland) have been working with Border Force to disrupt the flow of illegal guns, seizing 61 weapons.
