I'm certainly outspoken in defence of Armed Police Officers but the below mentioned article took me aback slightly, the reality of it is I probably know these guys as some of their quotes about members of the Unit were coined by me. I'm sorry but I see this article doing no good for CO19's reputation whatsoever. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10...penly-time.html

Not a lot of information in the story as to the circumstances, but interesting none the less, especially given the recent discussion on here regarding the Ambulance Service and some peoples experiences with them.

What an absurd article. Does the Daily Express really expect us to investigate offences where there are no leads? As ever people assume that the police operate with limitless resources. Do they think that if we are not investigating a particular offences then we are down the station sticking on a brew? Hasn't it occured to them that there aren't enough hours in the day to investigate every single thing so instead we have to prioritise crimes according their seriousness and the likelihood of the investigation going anywhere.
