http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/...unning-tap.html COPS accused of using "waterboarding" torture on a group of suspects did nothing more than run a tap, police sources said last night. You would think something could be done about such false claims, preferably BEFORE the Officers get gardening leave. A ridiculous claim which has far reaching consequences.

Kayleigh Hill and Anthony McVey, from Dibden Purlieu, Hampshire, said they were terrified when the officers battered their way into the house, believing it was the base of a suspected drug dealer. After detaining Mr McVey, 23, a former soldier with the Royal Engineers, the officers realised the suspect they were pursuing had moved out of the property and the innocent family with two young children had moved in. Source : http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/art...-to-shooting.do Not much to say really, except these sort of incidents seem to be happening more often in recent years. Lack of police resources putting too much pressure on the officers that are available?

Schoolchildren were left in tears after their teacher was gunned down by a crazed hoodie in the playground - in a 'sick' role-playing stunt. Terrified children - aged from 10 to 13 years old - watched as the supposed gunman strolled into the playground, took aim and shot the teacher, before running into the school's science lab. Other staff in on the stunt rushed to the popular teacher's aid and appeared to give CPR in an attempt to save his life. It was 10 minutes before the shocked pupils of Blackminster Middle School in Evesham, Worcestershire, were rounded up and taken into the school hall where teachers explained that the scenario had been mocked up as part of a f…

A Bristol driver who refused to pay a fine for using his mobile phone at the wheel has had the court case against him dropped through lack of evidence. Shaun Lovell, 46, insisted he was just adjusting a hands-free Bluetooth headset when police pulled him over on the ring road near Warmley in September last year. A furious Mr Lovell, of Pawlett Road, Hartcliffe, said he would never use a phone while driving and refused to pay the £60 fixed penalty notice or accept the three penalty points awarded to motorists caught on their mobile phone. Police began to mount a case against him, which was due to be heard at North Avon Magistrates' Court yesterday. But just days befor…
