    A Nottinghamshire police officer has been jailed for a year for forging signatures on documents. Pc Lee Roberts, 33, was found guilty of misconduct in a public office following a three-day trial in March. The jury heard he had forged signatures on a caution and statement while working at Broxtowe police station. He was suspended from duty in July 2009 and police chiefs have said his position in the force will now be reviewed. Roberts, who joined the force in 2002, will be subject to disciplinary proceedings.     A 'vindictive' pensioner who left a bogus bomb at his dentist in a revenge attack for apparently being overcharged was spared a jail term today. Peter McShane, 84, of Pembroke Dock, west Wales, threaded wires through a box, placed a ticking clock inside and carried it to his local dental surgery. The large oblong box, weighed down by a brick, triggered a major police operation when it was discovered on February 15.     A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murdering an asylum seeker in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The arrested boy cannot be named for legal reasons Alioune Cisse, 30, died in Newcastle General Hospital three days after he was found slumped in the Benwell area of the city on February 12. Doctors said he had suffered a brain injury. Mr Cisse, who was also known as Papa Mody Mbaye, had gone to Tyneside to seek asylum from Senegal a few months earlier.
