Innocent grandfather gassed himself hours after child porn police raided his home By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 7:11 PM on 4th December 2010 Comments (66) Add to My Stories A grandfather gassed himself just hours after child porn police raided his home - even though he was innocent. Last night his widow launched a bitter attack on the police after hearing at an inquest how detectives who seized his computers found nothing illegal. Michael Curtis's home was raided and three laptop computers seized after intelligence led officers to his address after he stumbled upon one indecent picture and viewed it for a matter of seconds. …

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-11932191 Police threatened to break a man's arm shortly before he went into cardiac arrest and died during a drugs search, a inquest has heard. Habib Ullah, 39, of Slough, Berkshire, was part of a group searched as they sat in a car in High Wycombe in 2008. During the search he had breathing problems and later died in hospital. An officer shouted "break his arm" as police tried to force a package of drugs out of his throat, the coroner heard. The inquest continues. Emma Forbes, Mr Ullah's girlfriend who was with him at the time, told the inquest: "I could see by what was happening that it was a bit rough, the way so many of them j…

From Peterborough Evening Telegraph: http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/news/local/poppy_appeal_theft_thief_laughed_as_she_stole_tin_1_1665194 I wanted to post this because I am really pleased the magistrates have chosen to deal with it substantially. Such a lack of respect should be treated severely, in my view. While it's only a "small" theft, it symbolises so much more.

http://blogs.news.sky.com/editorsblog/Post:9ac93136-158b-44a3-89ef-9aefc11a1ac3 Last week saw the first of a series of cases involving six parliamentarians accused of dishonesty relating to their expenses. This has been discussed in the distant passed, but still nothing has happened about it. I for one would love to watch court cases without having to leave my home, but alas, no luck so far. Why are the government here so much against this idea, seems to work in other countries?

My link Very very sad. Im sure in this day and age, with the technology we have, something like this could easily be avoided. The driver was a prat for waving at the cameras. I cant help thinking that his employers should shoulder some of the blame. He had already been warned before about speeding and been subject to covert surveilance of his driving!
