Hey all, a month after sending my application in, I have passed the paper sift and now am going to the assessment center wooooooo! I need alot of advice on whats going to take place, how did you revise, what did you wear, what material did you purchase in order to succeed. The assessment is a little over two weeks away, and am already feeling the nerves so any advice would be greatly welcome and appreciated. Thanks Guys !!!!! :new_shades:

Hello, I sent my application in a week ago now, when will I receive the result of my application? The next course starts in August

After a 11 hour shift last night after being dropped in it for a constant, getting back at 5 in the morning I was questioning why I do this for free. As we can't get a sensible subsistence claim policy, I can't see this happening, especially whilst there is a waiting list. Tim wants to boost the numbers by 70, plus the churn, we're talking about 100 extra. Has the specials structure got the capacity to cope?

Does anyone have a handy PNB / ticket book sized list of offence codes with fines (and points for endorsable offences)? I think that this would be a really useful thing to have access to when on duty for this slightly more 'out of the ordinary' situations.

Wooooooo! Assessment centre is on the 5th April Not long lol. Have taken Friday off so I can do some real revision. Final interview is on the same day after the assessment centre stuff to save time and streamline everything It would appear from the documents I got sent that there is no longer a role play? Hi. I am applying for suffolk special constabulary. I was just wondering to what extent specials are allowed to drive police vehicles. I know at the information evening it said that driving was a possibility, but they didn't go into much detail. What driving stages are allowed? eg. a to b, response etc. How long does it usually take once you complete training to become eligible to go on a driving course? How often do the driving courses run? Also, what sort of vehicles do suffolk use? They were all tucked away by the PIC so didn't get a chance to have a look. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was looking for anyone with any information to my below question. On starting with Suffolk Constabulary as a Police Officer what are the stations that could be possible for your first posting? They took my preference of station at the final interview, but obviously this is only my choice and not the service. Regards Darren
