I am moving to Northampton very shortly and I am trying to apply for the Regulars. It says on the website that they are recruiting at the moment but I've tried requesting an application through the dedicated answer machine and via email and I still haven't received one. How long does it normally take? Thanks.

Cant believe the training has gone so quick. I shall be finishing in 2 weeks and going to the best station in Northampton: Kettering . All the people in our intake are such great people going to miss them so much Any advice will be nice on what to expect.

Hi All, Training starts in 2 weeks time and i have a few questions that you may be able to help with. When will we be required to have our uniform for? Is it mainly smart casual for most of the training? What happens if we cant make 1 or 2 of the days? If you are assigned SCT, are you able to do other placements as long as you are giving the majority of your hours to SCT? thanks all

The force is asking local projects involved in tackling anti-social behaviour to apply for the grants. The Police Authority Grants Funding Group is seeking to support projects with one large grant award of £5,000 and six smaller £1,000 awards. More information is on the Police Authority website. Police said drivers still did not get the message that drinking at night could mean arrest the following day. During the Christmas campaign, 1,066 breath tests were carried out and 95 people arrested with 60 charged. Six arrests were between 0700 GMT and noon. Ch Insp Sean Bell said people did not seem to understand how long it took for alcohol to leave the body. Hello All, Sorry if this is very annoying but i need to share my excitment somewhere and where better than here! After about 7/8 months of going through all the processes i have finally found out today that i have got to the end of the process and will start training next year for the Specials in Northamptonshire! Just a little shoutout to Gabba too who has helped me a fair bit through the process, kudos to him Flux.
