Hi all! Just wondering whether any of the Special applicants who passed their interview and to start on the 28th have heard anything back from HR yet? I'm probably just a bit eager to know what is happening, but has any one heard anything yet? I got a letter saying I'd passed the interview stage but nothing since that..... I do realise that vetting and medicals do take a while though! :new_thmbdn2:

Hello! I'm a serving officer (regular) from a different force. I'm from North Wales originally and I'm looking at transferring in. Any regs on here who could answer a couple of questions for me? Nothing specific, just wondering about the different force areas, overtime, training etc. If any regs could drop me a PM I'd be very grateful! Thanks, notbrazil

Hi everyone, Strictly speaking this isn't relevant to the forum but I'm desperate. I've been offered a position at Wylfa with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary but I have to accept/decline by tomorrow (12/11/12) I'd like some info on the area regarding schools, good/bad areas to live in. I've got a young family and have never been to Wales so I'm bit worried about uprooting my family from Kent. Any help would be very much appreciated Cheers Pud

Hello all, I passed all recruitment stages in December 2011 for North Wales Police Specials, and was due to start training in January but unfortunately it was pushed back until March (gutted!) and in March I started the training but unfortunately it got cancelled (even more gutted!) after the introduction meeting (we were given our uniform too). Does anyone know if this is a usual occurence? Also, was anyone on here involved in the introduction evening in March? Would love to get in touch. Many thanks, Toby
