I know that this was one of the things I wanted to know before joining. Below is a typical NWP response shift pattern: Mon-Thu Nights Fri-Sun Rest Mon-Wed Afternoons Thu-Fri Rest Sat-Tue Days Wed-Thu Rest Fri-Sun Nights Mon-Wed Rest Thu-Sun Lates Mon-Tue Rest Wed-Fri Days Sat-Sun Rest Rinse and repeat... Nights 2200-0700 Lates 1700-0300 Afternoons 1500-2359 Days 0700-1700 Hope this helps someone!

Hello, Any NWP PCs who would be able to advise on the content of the NWP Final Interview and what things you need to revise for it. And also whether if during the interview they ask you to demonstrate previous competencies?

I am a resident on Coed Efa in Wrexham and have repeatedly informed the Police of vehicles that are parked on the public highway with no insurance. Many of the vehicles are also not MOT'd or hold valid road tax. When I phone the none emergency line to inform the police of new vehicle parked up and down the road I am told that it is not a priority of the police to deal with this and that mot and tax violations are dealt with by the DVLA. I have phoned the DVLA who informed me that I need to speak to the DVSA who in turn told me to speak to the council. Having got to the council I was informed that the police need to deal with the issue. I have also stopped a p…

Hello all, In 2012 I applied to be a SC, but failed the vetting and wasn't given a reason. It knocked me back. However after much deliberation with myself I decide to try again, what did I have to lose? Well after trying again, it's payed off! My appointment letter is on its way and I've finally achieved what I've wanted! So to anyone out there that gets knocked back, stand up and go back stronger! Anything is achievable. I'm so glad i tried again! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Hi, Is there anyone on here that had to wait for their GP to write a report before they were given the green light by the OHU? The reason I ask is because all I'm waiting for is my medical to be signed off so I can start training as a SC at the beginning of September. I just want to know how long it took for your GP to respond? I've literally got under 3 weeks for them to respond! Thanks in advance Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

The local force I have applied for have checked my credit file already. However I haven't even completed the next stage yet. This was a few weeks back, I was a bit concerned about my financial position. I haven't received a rejection letter so I'm assuming my finances are OK. What do you think? They wouldn't of started vetting already would they? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Hi all, I'm hoping someone on the forum will be able to answer this question. My partners family own a bed and breakfast in the local area, which is covered by the force I have applied for. Is likely to be a problem during the vetting? I have previously failed vetting, however the force have said they will need to re-vet me as a lot has changed since my previous application. I'm hoping this is a good sign, as obviously my family haven't changed and neither has their past, so I'm fairly confident they would of told me not to try again if it was something about them that caused me to fail previously. Any replies will be greatly appreciated!! Thank in advance all. …
