So anyone else doing induction and gateway training next month? Looking forward to it but wrongly assumed I'd be doing the fitness test first. So a bit of a surprise to find out my start date is very soon .

Well into my gateway training at the moment and awaiting vetting to be passed off, but I've just deactivated my facebook, shall I email recruitment to let them know that I've done this as I listed my username on the vetting forms?

Well into my gateway training now, and being given dates for my foundation, but was wondering at what stages you receive uniform/ equipment, is this at the start of foundation or the end?

Hi all I received e-mail says that I failed A/S.I think I have to wait another 6 months to re-apply. My question is; When I re-apply y months later will I go to Search assesment or will I apply again with new application? Also can I apply for special constable now or will I wait for 6 months for Special constable or PCSO? Thanks in advance

Recently passed the assessment centre for specials in Hampshire, got my dates for my induction next month and for gateway training, but just looking for any more info and advice? Do we have a set uniform to wear or just smart clothing?

Hi everyone just some info on my assessment day for specials for hampshire! Had my assessment day last Saturday, went well! Verbal reasoning test went good but didn't finish the last question because of time limits but am confident that I was correct with all other questions. Written test was a little harder but managed to complete all questions. Interview i'm not sure about, answered all questions and was asked a few by the interviews at certain points and presentation went good as I was fully prepared - just a little bit nervous waiting for the 2 weeks to be up to hear back via email. Don't think I did as well on the interview as I could off - feeling a little deflate…

Had my specials assessment for Hampshire 2 weeks ago today, was told that I would hear back around 2 weeks, but haven't as of yet! Do they email you results either way or is it just if you pass? What would be the best course of action next? wait another week or email them Monday? Got a friend applying for PCSO for Hampshire also and he has been short listed and was told he would hear back by today but hasn't heard anything back as of yet, so hopefully its just that they are busy and will get back to us when they can! Any advice would be great R

HI all, First time post here. I wondered how many had recently applied to Hampshire Constabulary on the June/July 2016 recruitment drive? I understand that Hampshire conduct initial interviews prior to national SEARCH assessment. Has anyone had recent experience of these initial interviews? I can see the advantages of interviewing applications prior to paying to put them through the national process, just wondered how different this interview is to the normal 'final interview' post SEARCH. Due to massive changes in recruiting, PIRT and subsequent training, this has been removed for now since hardly any of what was a fairly substantial, and detailed, overview is relevant any more.

I've heard from a few different sources regarding training for gateway and foundation, is there an intensive course running for Hampshire Constabulary specials or is it the standard 6 month route? As my current job would suit better to an intensive! Ryan
