I re-attest tonight, then got my PST/OST refresher Mid-November and will be operational straight after that Looking forward to working at a new station (EE for those in the know) and working with a new team, but also working with my old station when staff are short (AKA all the time) I've been incredibly impressed with how MFSS have handled my re-join, I wouldn't have bothered yet if they'd made me do all the initial training again but that was never even considered so I'm well pleased

I'm attending the Nov 15 recruitment seminar and hoping to return to Cheshire specials after leaving in 2002 for what was Central Scotland Police. I just wondered if any of my former Macclesfield div colleagues are still here?

Hi everyone. Currently going through the process for the specials and just wanted some questions answering if possible? I've passed everything else and had the email to fill out the forms for my medical (which I'm in the process of doing). I've also just received an email today with an attached timetable of training/first aid etc. having this email, does that mean I've passed the vetting and I'm now just waiting to pass the medical and the references? Many thanks in advance!

I always thought they used black coloured 21" ASPs but a friend of mine (also a wannabe future police officer) said it's actually a Monadnock friction lock, (this turned into a 'you're wrong - I'm right' type of debate) and having looked at the end cap it does look a bit too shiny to be an ASP, as from what I've seen ASP end caps are either chrome coloured or a matte plastic looking type thing.

Hi Everyone, I am a bit confused to how Cheshire operate, do they have response teams or do all officers work in neighbourhood teams and answer 999 calls as and when they come in? Thanks!

Hi, I have been offered an interview (NCA) in birchwood, from a previous thread, I understand that there is no/very little parking there? I will be driving 55miles there and back but don't mind paying for parking as a one off. My main concern Is if I got the job, how does the parking work? I understand that there is a car park there? Anyone that works/ worked there? Thanks! ☺️
