just really a a heads up i have noticed, yesterday and today at around the same time the forum goes off, dont know if this is a update with the SP or something. you see just thought i would ask if anyone else gets it? or if its a know issue

I've been trying to send a personal message out to a friend but for some reason the following seems to come up. This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or they are in a member group not allowed to use the personal messenger. This personal message has not been sent. Have you had the same problem.

Any bright spark know how to disable the parental lock on Sky? We have no kids at home and there is no need for this function Would be nice just to get rid of it altogether I can see why they came up with the idea, but with time, surely they realised that it shouldn't have to default to it for every household?

Can anyone tell me how to hide when you were last active on the forum. I noticed some user's profiles show up as this but I cant figure out how to do it. Cheers

Hi all I have had 2 e-mails telling me people have added me as friends, but when I log in I don't get the message on here and none of them are showing in my friends list or even in the pending approval section. What am I doing wrong?? Please help!!!!

since the forum went odd a few days ago everytime i select a topic to read the replies come in a list underneath and i have to click each one individually to read them.Does anyone know if this is something to do with my forum settings and if so how i change it back please as its taking ages just to read one topic.Also appologies if this has been asked before only i can not search either as the box just comes up blank.

Hi, I haven't started yet, but I would like to know how this situation would be dealt with... A call comes in from someone saying she has been threatened by a man with a syringe, once on the scene he is known to you as previously being violent towards police, he is also known to be homeless and a heroin user, he is threatening you with it saying he has HIV. Having read some of the other made up scenarios, this one will take place in an enclosed back alley. What would be done here, if you knew that back up of ANY KIND would be at least 5 minutes?

Im in my office and have just tried to log onto this site by typing the url in the address line..ie: www.policespecials.com and I get a pop up box asking me to download a file from policespecials.com called policespecials_com Anyone else had this today ? I cant access the site unless I use google to search for a thread, and click that link... odd.. just running my virus scanner again now..
