hi all, i tend to view most of the posts on here, using the view new post click at the top of the page. as opposed to looking in each section seperately. however what i have noticed is that at the bottom you have the button to click posts for TODAY, THIS WEEK, THIS MONTH. etc. but, that if you have today selected, that at various points through the day, the list of items changes and not all of "todays" posts are actually shown including ones i have not read, yet they seem to move in to the this week section and mark themselves as read/not new despite the fact i have not seen them. why is this? any ideas

OK, so i've basically found my dream car for a very very very reasonable price. I have contacted the seller (private not trade) and they have sent me another email containing further details of the car. Last night i received another email from the chap with loads of extra pictures, picture of the MOT certificate etc. Everything seems very legit and in order. The guy (from the email) seems genuine enough too.... Is this too good to be true?? The problem comes when the seller tells me that, at the moment, the car is currently in Spain. Anyway, last week I bought one of the PS.com mugs, paid for it on Paypal, expected weekend delivery but this morning I've had an email from Niton Equipment, the sellers of the mug, that they have refunded my Paypal payment of £10.45! (bit steep for a mug but never mind), have they run out of stock or something and can't fulfil the order? Not a major problem, heh, it's £10 back in my Paypal account, but I just wondered why the refund? Mods feel free to move this if it's in wrong section.

Right guys, as some of you may know I am pretty dreadful when it comes to my ways around a PC (A computer not an Officer... ). On my laptop I am using Vista, however if I look under my computer my DVD drive is showing to have what I can only explain as a no entry sign showing. If I try to play something in the drive it says Optical Drive Device Locked. If I plug an MP3 in it also says removable data device locked and the no entry sign shows. In Device Manager I have 2 things under drives 'One shows Hitachi HTS541212H9AT00 ATA Device (Type Disk Drive) the other that isn't ticked is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T10N ATA Device' Come on guys one of you must work in IT!!!!!!!

Hi, How do I post images like everyone else? Mine always come up in a little box as reduced size, but others seem to appear normally. Can;t see any options on the post board. Any ideas?

Anyone know any good software that will convert flv files to gif ???? I have seen http://video2gif.leechvideo.com/ but this is SO hit and miss that its a real pain.... any tips ?? Thanks Ian
