Tom Winsor defends HMIC uniform decision "I would rather be criticised for showing respect, rather than failing to show it," says HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary. Date - 30th September 2013 By - Cliff Caswell - Police Oracle 32 Comments Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary Tom Winsor has robustly defended his decision to wear a uniform to this year’s National Police Memorial Day Service in Cardiff – pointing out that he had chosen to do so as a mark of respect. Speaking after the event at St David’s Hall, Mr Winsor said that the attire – which is unique to the inspectorate – was both important and appropriate for a ceremonial occasion. While he accepte…

http://oppositethedailymail.wordpress.com/2013/09/29/how-can-tom-winsor-look-at-himself-in-the-mirror/ How can Tom Winsor look at himself in the mirror?Leave a reply Tom Winsor, responsible for reducing the starting wage for the Police to £19,000 pa, while at the same time increasing the entry qualifications; who decided that direct entry to the significant rank of Superintendent was a good idea as well as being able to make Police officers redundant; who increased the age at which Police officers can draw their pension; who decided that Police officers must have mandatory fitness tests, but not give them any time within work to keep their fitness levels to that standar…

Good ultraviolet photography by the Met. I don't know why he denied being in the car despite being coated in the dye. I'm curious as to whether this was Smartwater or equivalent and whether the 'DNA' coding linked it to him - that really would be irrefutable. If it was just a UV dye then this could have made contact with his skin from another one of his thieving operations and not necessarily linking him to the car.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2438130/Theresa-May-Ill-kick-illegal-migrants-BEFORE-chance-appeal-says-Home-Secretary.html - we have heard all this before from May and Cameron, the usual rhetoric pushed out to try and placate the masses. If HMG were so keen to get out of the EU Court of Human \Rights, they could have done so 2 years ago. May is all wind and............. May showed just how pathetic we are in the UK over Abu Hamza and Abu Qatarda who cost the UK millions in Court costs and Benefits, and took 10 years to remove from the UK.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/tony-blair/10341587/Former-prime-minister-Tony-gets-a-30m-Blair-Force-One.html - he always did want to be President Blair. I really think it is time he paid for his own security instead of taking tax payers money, and it would free up police officers for more worthwhile jobs than protecting that Scumbag. Excellent quote by a plane spotter - The plane-spotter noted with some acerbity: “The Globex transported God’s self-appointed representative on earth, HRH Tony Bliar, correction Blair.”

A prolific Birmingham burglar who crushed a police officer into a lamppost in a desperate attempt to escape has been jailed for 12 years. Carl Anderson, 50, of Osbourne Close, Aston, reversed his car across an Erdington road at up to 35mph, with the engine screaming and tyres screeching, as Pc Peter McGinn clung to the driver's side door trying to grab the keys. Judge Melbourne Inman QC, sentencing at Birmingham Crown Court, told Anderson: "You deliberately reversed the car at speed such that the open door was smashed against a lamppost with such force it broke the hinges and folded the door back against the car. "Between that door and the lamppost was Pc McGinn." And…
