Lee Johnson A burglar threatened to sue his victim for stopping him from fleeing the scene of a break in. Lee Johnson was disturbed by landlord Paul Clare as he tried to raid the Waterside pub inEccles, Manchester Crown Court heard. But because his escape was foiled by a struggle which ended with a fall through a window, the burglar decided that he was the victim. Mr Clare, 45, who lives above the pub, was woken by loud banging in the middle of the night. When he went downstairs to investigate, Johnson, who was high on crack cocaine, leapt from behind the bar and vaulted to a window to escape. The intruder managed to force it open and get half his body through. Bu…

Oh, dear. What a shame. Lock him up and thrown away the key. He won't succeed in suing the landlord.

http://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/news/gwentnews/10561170.Gwent_PCC____disdainful____of_scrutiny___MP/?action=complain&cid=11824255 I don't very often agree with Vaz, but he got it right about Johnson. Johnson is arrogant and pompous, he couldn't make it to the top when in the job so is trying to be Chief in the guise of PCC. Only ONE person applied for the Gwent CC job, which is understandable, who would want to be a Chief in Gwent with Johnson as your PCC, you wouldn't be able to do the job because Johnson would be 'poking his nose in' all the time. It would appear he got rid of Carmel Napier because she wouldn't bow and scrape to him.

The Met has announced it has reached a “full and final settlement with Dizaei” and a two-month hearing that was due to begin next year will now not take place. You will no doubt be pleased to know that Dizaei has dropped his claim against the Met for discrimination and that he has NOT received any compensation, except the Met have agreed to pay part of his costs and will not say how much. The Mayor is still trying to prevent Dizaei from getting all his pension and lets hope he succeeds. Dizaei was a complete and utter Scumbag with no integrity or scruples, who played the Race Card whenever he could, and thanks to that weak Ian Blair was promoted several times under hi…

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) could axe up to 700 police officer posts to save an estimated £66m from its budget, it has been announced. The cuts, which make up 20% of its budget, are due to come into force over a three-year period from 2014-2015. GMP will not replace police officers who retire or leave and a recruitment freeze will be put in place. Chief Constable Sir Peter Fahy said it was the "biggest challenge GMP has ever faced". Policing review Sir Peter said: "It has big implications for the way our staff operate and about the co-operation we will need from the public and business. "If we have 20% less staff, we need 20% less demand [for the force's service…
