    Eight people have been arrested on suspicion of smuggling guns into the UK. Officers from the National Crime Agency (NCA) and Kent Police are questioning seven men and a woman, aged between 24 and 58. They were arrested in Cuxton Marina, Orpington and Swanley on Tuesday.     The scene of the arrest, in Springfield Road An off-duty PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) saw colleagues trying to pin-down a wanted teen in Horsham town centre and jumped to the rescue this evening (August 11). Around four police vehicles rushed to the scene in Springfield Road where PCSOs confronted and pinned down a 16-year-old boy wanted for assault, at around 6.45pm this evening.     Officers trying to recruit outside Northampton Central Mosque Northamptonshire Police has launched a campaign to recruit more officers from ethnic minorities. The recruitment drive started with officers meeting Muslims attending prayers at Northampton Central Mosque. Those behind the drive said they wanted the force to represent the county. Currently four per cent of officers describe themselves as being black or minority ethnic, while eight per cent of residents say they are of an ethnic minority background.     Norfolk Police Federation chairman Paul Ridgway officers were being "stretched more thinly" All front-line police officers in Norfolk should have body cameras and more Tasers are needed to help a "stretched" force, says its staff body.     Five members of one family have been arrested on suspicion of terror offences in east London. Scotland Yard arrested a 51-year-old man, a woman aged 53 and three females aged 16, 17 and 19. All were arrested on suspicion of possessing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism. They are in police custody. The man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing false identity documents.     Twenty new moveable Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras are to be used by local policing teams in North Yorkshire. The cameras were purchased with part of a £1m investment in ANPR announced last year, said the force. ANPR reads vehicle number plates, checks against a police database and notifies officers of possible offences. If an area has a spate of burglaries the new cameras can be set up there and later moved to another locality. The force has 6,000 miles of roads, and said about 20% of all detected crime in North Yorkshire was committed by criminals travelling into the county.     Police said the Lamborghini was a Huracan model The driver of a Lamborghini that was stopped outside a police station for allegedly being uninsured has been ordered to appear in court. Police seized the bright green sports car near their Parkside base in Cambridge on Sunday, after it was spotted missing a front number plate. It had been rented from a Luton car hire company, which has also received a summons. The Huracan model retails from about £180,000.
