Teen Boy Dies After Being Stabbed At School 16:14, UK, Wednesday 28 October 2015 A teenage boy who was stabbed by a pupil at a secondary school has died from his injuries. Police detained a 16-year-old boy following the lunchtime attack at Cults Academy in the west of Aberdeen. The incident took place within the school building and the injured boy was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious wounds. The detained boy is helping officers with their inquiries. A male pupil has died after a stabbing at an Aberdeen school. Police Scotland said another male had been detained after the emergency services were called to Cults Academy at about 13:30. Aberdeen City Council earlier said it was aware of what it described as a serious incident. A spokesman added: "Due to the nature of this incident we will not be issuing further comment." Three police officers escaped injury when a submachine gun was fired as they carried out inquiries. At least 14 shots were discharged from the semi-automatic weapon, damaging an unmarked police vehicle.
