Return to News 13 August 2018 A 28-year-old man who supplied drugs and a firearm to organised criminals in London has been jailed for 17-and-a-half years years. Dardan Sadikaj, along with his criminal associates, had been under surveillance by the joint National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) for 16 months before he was arrested on 9 January 2018 in Coquelles, France. In September 2016, OCP officers watched as Sadikaj met with his cousin, Besard Mustafaj at the Sunrise Carwash on Barking High Road. An off-duty police officer was stabbed while fighting off armed moped thieves in south east London. The City of London officer was knifed in the leg with a "large kitchen knife" as he intervened in a street robbery on Saturday. The 37-year-old sprang into action when he saw a group of four men on mopeds attempting to steal another moped from a 21-year-old man at Maylons Road. Ten people are in hospital after a shooting in Manchester. Armed officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to Moss Side at 2.30am on Sunday and discovered several people had been hurt. The injuries range from minor to major, but most do not appear to be life-threatening, the force said. The nature of the injuries is not yet clear. Footage reportedly showing the aftermath of the incident was posted on social media. Return to News 10 August 2018 Egyptian national, Ahmed Saleh Elsayed Mustafa, 39, was arrested by National Crime Agency officers in January 2017 as part of a joint operation with the Danish police. His criminal boss and now convicted people smuggler, Mohamed Elsaid Khalil Ali, was arrested in Esbjerg, Denmark shortly before Mustafa's arrest. Ali facilitated the travel of 51 migrants who entered the UK from Denmark via the port of Immingham hidden within freight lorries between May 2016 and January 2017. In the six months leading up to his arrest, Mustafa received £10,200 from members of the people smuggling network which he was instructed to launder for Ali.…

Edward Donaldson had 25,595 ecstasy tablets worth up to £256,000 alone stored in his flat in Southview court, Waterloo, Liverpool. NCA officers found a haul that included: £3,000 cash, 84.8g of crystal MDMA, 229g of cocaine, cathinone derivatives (like amphetamine) worth £774,135 and psychoactive drug mexedrone worth £30,000 – totalling more than £1m. Return to News We are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a Manchester man wanted in connection with a firearms incident. At around 9.30pm on Saturday 28 July, two men were seen driving a white VW Passat in the area of Allama Iqbal Road in Oldham. The vehicle was followed but unbeknown to officers a firearm and ammunition was thrown out of the car window near the Fiddlers Green pub, Alexandra Terrace, off the A6 Stockport Road, Levenshulme.
