http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7894195.stm A decision to revoke compensation awarded to a London policeman over a claim of victimisation has been upheld by the Court of Appeal. Some sense from the courts, but i am sure he will find something else to sue over.

http://www.bjp-online.com/public/showPage.html?page=836675 Cannot copy paste from this site. Relationship between photographers and police may worsen next month........ A happy note for any Officer fed up with a camera in their face. Always wondered if an Officer could argue, taking pictures of certain portraits round the world is banned in the galleries they are hung in, this is due to somehow the flash or camera itself ruining the picture.

There is a new site on the web www.theratbook.com This is going to be explosive. They have spent time on this site collecting info and data on every professional trades person,Sports person,Doctor,Dentist,Lawyer etc etc. The data and info is all scandal not a mention of any good that these people may of done. What bothers me most is that they have listed every known terrorist, paedophile, pervert and police informer, they are posting addresses and photo's. Is this freedom of speech gone totally mad, there will be linch mobs in every town around Britain. I think they could of spent there time on doing some good.

Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) have been praised after they helped rescue a man from drowning in London's Camden Lock in freezing conditions. On Saturday 7 February, at 17:58hrs, the male PCSOs were patrolling the area when they were alerted to a man who had fallen into the canal and not resurfaced. One requested assistance via his personal radio while the other used a torch to conduct a search of the water. Very quickly the PCSOs spotted a body beneath the surface. One of the officers lay down on the ground and edged forward. He submerged his shoulders in the freezing icy canal in order to reach the man. The officers required considerable physical strength…

A "lunatic" driver who did a series of handbrake turns on the M62 and then attacked a police officer sent to arrest him has escaped a jail sentence. Kirk's stunts were caught on camera Marc Kirk drove towards oncoming traffic on the motorway near Rochdale in Greater Manchester after having an argument with his girlfriend. CCTV footage shows other vehicles slam on their brakes as Kirk, 20, does a U-turn and a handbrake turn in the middle of the carriageway. He then speeds back to the hard-shoulder and carries out a second handbrake turn, leaving the car again facing on-coming traffic. Manchester Crown Court heard that when a passing patrol car stopped Kirk, he repeate…

http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?P...mp;in_a_source= Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has scrapped an annual police survey - a step the Home Office estimates will free up nearly 150 police officers and staff. Is Jacqui Smith attempting to make capital over forms that should not be there in the first place, i am betting these surveys were always a waste of time.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/front_pa...000/7891612.stm Britain is once again searching for new answers to terrorism and radicalisation. We may not have had a major terrorist attack since the London bombings of July 2005 but the ideological battle against al-Qaeda is being lost at home. This program maybe worth a look at.
