BBC News Story I find this hard to believe myself, as most people use screen wash, AND are unlikely to breath in the spray from their washer bottle if they dont! Even the evidence in the text above highlights OTHER potential causes... those who drove or travelled in a van, those who drove through industrial areas, and those who spent a lot of time in the car or who often had the car window open. Industrial areas with air con units and exhaust vapours from works are a known risk! However, if it encourages drivers to use screen wash, then I am all for it!

This is the moment a white American police officer punches a teenage black girl in the face after a dispute about how she and her friend crossed the road. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1287067/U-S-police-officer-filmed-punching-girl-17-face--crossing-road-properly.html#ixzz0r6cqMqfB The Yanks seem to still be on this bandwagon of Black vs White, and of course when this does happen, who`s name should always pop up, but of course Rodney King. It reminds me so much of football, when mentioned here, 1966 will always turn up in the conversation, much as i have done in this post.

Zaynab Alkhatib A lap dancer ended up in court because she keeps stripping off in public. Zaynab Alkhatib, 25, who earns £2,000 a month, got so drunk that she undressed in a packed restaurant and sat on a podium wearing nothing but a pair of black stilettos. Two days earlier she ripped off her clothes in a club and ended up kicking two police officers who covered her up and took her home in a van. Alkhatib, of Broadway, Salford Quays, apologised to magistrates after she was fined £500 and ordered to pay £100 compensation each to the two officers. She was also ordered to pay costs of £107 and a £15 victim surcharge. She said: "I'm just really, really sorry. I don't nor…

Hundreds of people are still out of their homes following the alert in County Tyrone. The bomb has now been made safe. PSNI Superintendent Brian Kee said those behind the attack were "criminal terrorists". He said if the bomb had detonated it would have caused severe destruction and loss of life. "The intention of the people responsible for planting this bomb in the middle of the village of Aughnacloy is to murder police officers with no regard for the people who live in this community," the superintendent …

A police officer accused of striking a woman with a baton at a G20 protest has been cleared by the Independent Police Complaints Commission http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/10340798.stm A good result, barring the months of stress and fear of going to prison and losing everything. "The Crown Prosecution Service had prosecuted Mr Smellie, claiming he lost composure because of Ms Fisher's aggressive behaviour." what a bad police officer, 36 hours on duty, dealing with screaming aggressive crowds who relentlessly pressure and abuse you and your not completely composed at all times, what is he??? a human being? dont be crazy. Makes you wonder if the cps read t…

While the news infuriated Daily Mail columnist Richard Littlejohn, Weybridge charity Gay Surrey applauded the forces’s work. Richard Littlejohn ought to wake up and join the real world. Other crimes take place at these sites such as robberies and thefts, much of which go unreported. I would imagine if the police laid on tea and biscuits for church goers on a Sunday morning in a car park where their cars had been vandalised / property stolen then it would be more socially acceptable, but because it's the gay community then it's ok for people like Littlejohn to be outraged.
