Drunken soccer fan burning rival flag outside Wembley is policemanBy James Tozer Last updated at 4:36 AM on 30th April 2011 Tatooed and defiant, he is every inch the unacceptable face of the hatred which continues to mar football. But the diehard Manchester City fan holding the burning flag of their bitter rival outside a high-stakes Wembley derby is an off-duty policeman, the Daily Mail can reveal. While his colleagues were working hard to keep order at the crucial FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Manchester City, Stuart Niven was pictured committing an act calculated to rile opposition fans. Die hard fan or yob? Off-duty Stuart Niven posted this ima…

Frightened Fulham residents want an 'out of control' hostel for criminals closed down after the Chronicle discovered police have been called to it 31 times in the last three months. Neighbours of the council-funded property – at 321 Lillie Road - say rarely a day goes by without a police call-out – and figures obtained by us back them up. Between January 14-April 14 officers have attended the home – which can house up to 13 people, including ex-offenders – on average once every three days, for offences ranging from anti-social behaviour and drug abuse to criminal damage and assault. Neighbours say that is just the tip of the iceberg – and want it …

Found a story on the guardian website about pre-emptive arrests on some protesters who were going to behead an effigy of Prince Andrew and were arrested for "suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance and breach of the peace." http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/apr/28/royal-wedding-protest-three-arrested What's just amazing is on the video footage of arrest, the filmer just puts uncalled for pressure on the police officers doing their job excellently. (Perhaps not surprising to you guys) I was just surprised by how many people managed to make some genius link to the police being like nazis or the SS on the youtube video. Dont understand why people in this cou…

From STV : http://news.stv.tv/s...n-glasgow-park/ Police arrested 21 people as violence marred the end of an unofficial street party in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park. Thousands of people poured into the park on Friday in response to an invitation on Facebook, in defiance of warnings by the city council to stay away from the event. Initially the festivities were good-natured, with between 3000 and 5000 people drinking and dancing in the sunshine to sound systems laid on by the organisers. But by 5pm scuffles had broken out between police and revellers, with bottles and cans thrown at officers and two police vans having their windows smashed. Police on horseback responded…

Police have called on people in a crowds to be their “eyes and earsâ€. Anyone attempting to interrupt a royal wedding on Friday will face a “robust†response, a Metropolitan Police has said. http://news.uk4net.com/2011/04/26/royal-wedding-policing-robust/ My life Cdr Christine Jones uses some long words. Anyways, will you be one of these Officers? The Police are calling for MOP`s to be their look outs for trouble too. I can see trouble ahead, the response from magistrates for any bad behavior is normally nil, and on top of it, if Police arrest they sue.

Just hope to beat Kenworthy with this news... Daily Telegraph article Aside from the negative publicity arising from this incident, I have to ask how these employees made it past the job interviews without being spotted? Was their no clue whatsoever about their character? Or are the interviewers to blame for not seeing the signs? One such officer is bad enough, but to find four of them in one swoop is very alarming, given the up and coming security aspects of the Olympics!

TEENAGE thieves targeting vans parked on a council estate forced open the doors of one - and were confronted by four SAS men on a stakeout. Two of the Who Dares Wins heroes stayed put while the other two chased the panic-stricken tearaways and gave them "a bit of a slap". http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3544485/Thieves-targeting-vans-on-council-estate-are-confronted-by-four-SAS-men-on-a-stakeout.html Would have been nice to see look on their faces.
