Hello to all, Completed Assessment yesterday, went really well, but i'm suffering with the "awaiting result" nerves! Anyone else in the same situation, completed Assessment but awaiting the result? I do know some are still awaiting result from before Christmas, however we was told a time-scale off 1-2 week wait Let me know how we all feel we have done

I've put together this diary to help all those thinking of joining, hopefully it should help!(This has already been posted in the main forum but I thought since I'm a WYP officer it may help some of you new recruits) My life as a special started when I was at university, at the time I was studying Public Services. A friend who is now also a special was applying and kept telling me to apply as he thought I'd be good for the job. got my pass today however not in the UK at the moment so haven't managed to see the letter that tells me everything. What am I to expect now and how long will it take till my first seminar?

Hello Forum First of all I discovered this after some research and would like to say HI to all Forum Users! I recently applied for Special Constable for West Yorkshire division, and received a letter 4 Weeks ago confirming I have passed and will be "contacted shortly" to invite me for Interview & Assessment. Is anybody else awaiting this? Anybody know the current time-scales currently? Can't wait to hear from everyone Best Regards, Mr Special

Think everyone was hit with the bad weather recently, Assessment was booked for Friday but cancelled on the Thursday due to the severe weather, anybody else suffer from the weather regards to Assessments with WYP?

Does anyone know is the training in January for WYP falls on both 8TH and 9TH or just the 8TH. And how flexible is training, just say if I am unable to make it to one training date, would I just be expected to turn up to the next date and continue.

Well having completed Pre-Patrol on sunday, its Attestation this coming weekend. Pre-patrol was just amazing! It was so fun ( really tiring though :? ) and just felt good to put it all into action, cant wait to get out on the streets of wakefield, especially after watching Coppers last night - ha!
