Hi all. I found out today that I passed the AC this afternoon for Warwickshire as an SC. Can't actually say how chuffed I actually am. I start training on the 24th September. It's been a long time coming as I got into West Midlands Police when I was 18 (25 now) as a regular but because of cuts my training date never came through. Looking forward to meeting many new faces next month and hope that some of you maybe in my intake Just wondered if anybody else on here has received the good news today for passing last weekends AC? Evening all, next week I will be attending the West Mercia Special Constable Assessment Centre and lets just say I am pretty nervous, I know they are trialing a new system at the moment, and I was wondering if anyone had some useful tips for the group and written exercises, and what to expect ? And help appreciated, Thanks.

Good morning, First of all I would like to thank everyone for the help during this process over the past 6 months. You've all been stars! I've just found out I've passed my medical, all they are waiting on is the security clearance, which is not done by them self's so is out of there hands. I know they have started my clearance, as I've had contact from then since sending the forms off just over a week ago. My question is, how do I know of its all gone OK? Do you get a better, email or nothing. Kind regards David

With the school holidays in full swing and the warm weather set to stick around for the next few days at least, the Safer Roads Partnership in Warwickshire and West Mercia is reminding motorists to be prepared for any long journeys and stay safe in the event of a breakdown. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead this summer and avoid unnecessary breakdowns by ensuring their vehicle is well-maintained before setting out on any long journeys. As well as checking to make sure the vehicle service is up to date, motorists should check tyre pressures and oil, water and fuel levels and top those up if needed. With temperatures expected to stay high for the next few days, motorist…

Hi all. I have recently passed the interview for Warwickshire Police as an SC and am now awaiting a date for the AC. It is driving me insane waiting for it but I am quite a patient man! I just wondered, dress code for the AC what is it because I am guessing you won't be sitting doing the written and group tasks in your running gear? Also, do you actually get the Written, Group, Bleep Test, Biometric and Uniform Fitting all on the same day or is it separated into other days? Mainly due to the fact, that some other forces do it on separate days and I can't find anything for Warwickshire about the format? As for revision I am practicing writing as much as possible, bu…

Hi All, AC coming up. Yes i Know there is a bleep test etc and exams. BUT- what are the exams actually on?! What are we meant to know? Is it to test basic writing skills and understanding? Or actual knowledge of police work/the law...? Help appreciated.
