Im currently in Dyfed Powys Police and half way through the new transfer process to get into South Wales Police in the western division in Swansea, and wanted to know the full list of kit/uniform you get in South Wales ? Many Thanks Ben

Does anyone know anything about when SWP will be recruiting next? I am able to apply again next week. I phoned bridgend a few days ago and they just stated that there aren't any vacancies yet and just to keep checking website. Any info would be good :D Thanks, Keiron

Just a quick one really. I know we have section officers etc but just wanted to know how they got these ranks/positions. Is it something that is run via exams like the regs, time served, hours worked etc?

I rang Employee Resourcing the other day after not hearing anything from them after passing Medical and Fitness and was told that for reasons unknown Intake in September was cancelled. I thought I would post here and see if anyone knew anything about this in more detail. If this is true I am really gutted as If I had known this I could have applied to my Local force Gwent a month later and possibly been joining the specials by now. Having recently received a letter from SWP advising my Specials intake for September has been cancelled, I was just wondering what the feelings within SWP force are towards another recruitment drive for regs at present?

Good Evening, I am a serving PC and will be looking to transfer to South Wales Police asap i understand that Gwent Police are accepting transfers but would prefer to transfer into SWP does anybody have any idea or heard any rumours about when SWP will be accepting transfers from other forces i ama aware that they have already accepted transfers this year. regards Mikey87
