Civil Nuclear Constabulary

I know you probably hear this question hundres of times, but does ANYONE know when CNC will accept transfers again. I have 13 years in my HO force and some of that as an AFO. However due to the political interference and the way we are being forced away from being police offices to servants, I want a change. I know what CNC does, accept that its not a HO force and the problems that could entail and that I wont be involved in "proper" policing on a day to day business. But when you consider what moral is like on HO forces, you can see why people are flocking to leave. Any way I have phoned CNC recruitment, but they never answer. Hi. Just thought I'd post here, along with as many other police forums as I can in the hope I can save a lot of you the sheer pointlessness that is "Joining the CNC". Firstly- don't ever expect to be kept up to date by the pathetic HR team. I started my horror story with the CNC in November 2009. I had never heard of them, but I had recently tried to get into Avon & Somerset and just missed out with a score of 57% at their assessment centre. Hi, Ive just re-registered on here. I spoke to CNC HR this morning and was told that they are currently putting together a new recruitment campaign,with a view to starting in the next few months. She also told me that they are working on a new training process aswell. Keep checking the Website. Hope this helps anyone

Hi, Has anyone heard from CNC Recruitment yet?? Have they dissapeared off the face of the earth. Cant get answer on phone, they never reply to emails, and none of the letters have appeared they said they were going to send. I just have no idea where I stand in this now, and Im well past my AC deadline. Applied January 2009 Passed paper sift Passed Assessment Centre March 2009 Passed Medical August 2009 Passed Fitness October 2009 Vetting sent. ........and still waiting.

Hey Guys Just wondering where you are likely to get posted to after you finish your 14 weeks training? I have an application hanging in the balance with the MDP but it looks massively unlikely that we'll be taken on and was thinking on transferring my application to CNC, the only thing is i dont want to be posted to scotland!
