We have all joined for some reason, whether it was to prepare yourself to work as reg, or to make a change on your local front. I am wondering what stories are hiding behind you lot. Most of you probably know my story as I'm quite a talkable chap but come and share yours.

Mohammed Bashir, 60, of Selbourne Road, Luton, was recorded shouting, swearing and laughing at operators about a British citizenship application. He denied four charges under the Telecommunications Act over the offences in 2008 and was convicted by town magistrates earlier this month. The court sentenced him to a 12-week jail term, suspended for six months.

After a year of waiting to re-take my written exam they have finally given me a date foe next week and I'm soo nervous really don't want to fail again! Has anyone got any tips or things that may help me pass this time around Thanks

How many Epaulettes & number sets did you get on Tues? I got 1 pair off epps to go on the black shirt with... 3 pairs of numbers and 6 crowns. So... 1 set of numbers for the loose epps to put on the black shirt, 1 set for the black fleece 1 set for the fluorescent jacket...... ... but then I got an extra 9 and six extra 2's...... ??? am I missing something? should there be an extra loose set of epps and number set for the white shirt?

Hey all. I am starting with my final prep for starting in AUG 2nd, I have my Fitness in 21st june and other small assessments but i am pretty confident about passing these. Just wondering if anyone else is in this same situation and at the same point. Or if anyone can give me any advice or info on beds and that. Regards Jon

Hello everyone, I saw that Beds police hasn't got many topics going on here so I have decided to start one. I've recently completed an assessment centre and am awaiting my results. I'm looking for anyone who is looking to join, in the process of joining and already serving to begin networking so as to make friends and give out loads of advice. hi everyone, just got my 55% pass mark for A/C and was just wondering if anybody knew of a team of police officers from the UK ever doing the 4daagse march in holland? www.4daagse.nl its massive (over 40k people doing it per year) and people do it for all sorts of reasons, charity team-work challenging etc etc
