A man has been jailed after he fed his dog cocaine before cutting off its ears with scissors and pliers. Christopher Griffiths carried out the ‘deliberate and planned operation’ on his Staffordshire bull terrier, Victor, last September.He’s now been jailed for 24 weeks for the cruelty which took place at his home in Wrexham and banned from keeping animals for 10 years. Griffiths, 35, denied what he had done but was found guilty after being taken to trial by the RSPCA. Two of his other dogs, Ned and Brandy, were also taken into care of the charity.
