Noticed today a private ambulance vehicle (ford mondeo) liveried in Blue and Yellow Battenburg identical to that used by Police, at first glance the vehicle looked like a police car, only difference being instead of Police on the back and front the word ambulance appeared. The car had all the usual blue lights as seen on emergency vehicles. Quiet unusual livery, thought only police used blue and yellow and ambulance green and yellow battenburg livery. Anyone know if there are any offences, spoke to the driver who advised the car used to be a police demonstrator and had been bought in police markings and new owner had simply changed the wording from police to Ambulance.…

I'm first to admit I know sweet FA about ambos, but we had cause to call an ambulance for a woman who collapsed outside our building, quick response and all the usual but it was as they were treating her head wound I noticed they were actually in G4S uniforms. Are LAS now dispatching private ambulance to Emergency calls?

Hello all, has anyone on here applied to the recent massive round of Prison Officer recruitment? I had my RAD in Surrey two weeks ago and heard on Monday that I'd passed. Amyone else heard or still waiting? Also anyone been allocated a vacancy yet? I know if you don't get given a vacancy in 12 months you have to reapply. One of the officers on my assessment day said that if you pass you're near enough guarenteed a position as they're so desperate right now. Also can you be allocated a vacancy at any Prison, or just for the ones you applied to? Ie I applied to HMP Leicester, Glen Parva, Onley and Gartree but might I possibly be assigned a vacancy in HMP Humber for…
