The Other Half!

Well just broke up with this girl and I am wondering how do you deal with the seporation? Got any tips? advice? I just keep running trought my head what I did wrong ect ect and its allways hard, just feel like a big girl as i just want to go cry :D

After a very long break I have just returned to the confusing World of dating only to find that since I've become a special (and potential Regular) it's a whole different ball game!!! I know that I have the utmost integrity, no dodgy past etc but what about the potential other half? It may sound really shallow but I'm not prepared to compromise my future by starting a relationship with someone that may effect my chances of passing vetting etc. Vetting itself is unpredictable enough. I will try and keep this brief ... Recently I was chatting to an ex, he has been saying how much he likes me. Then he told me that he loves me and that he has been waiting for ages to say that. He said it a few times and the next day he said he meant everything he said. Then we had said we would meet up but he said he had something to do so will do it another day. Then he texts me saying that he is sorry but he has a gf. Yet whenever we have spoken he has always said he hasnt got one. So we said a day to meet up but have had no response from him. Any suggestions as to what is going on in his head? Its a little confusing.

I thought i would pop my amazing girlfriend the big question today as its her birthday and she was hinting at wanting to be engaged. I asked her and she said yes! I think i gave her the best birthday present! I think Im gonna be getting an early birthday present from her later!

So I recently got a job. It's a door to door charity work thing. It's the only job that got back to me out of 100, after like 10 failed interviews for other places. My girlfriend has a lot of money she got from EMA, she used to pay for me (I never asked) and then she'd moan at me about it. Also she'd moan at me about not having a job too. Cut a long story short... About a year ago now me and my partner of 2 years broke up after living together for a year and a half. Anyway about 3 months ago I got with my current partner (of whom I used to go to school with years ago!) and I'm happy, I wouldn't say I'm falling in love yet but I'm happy. We all have one (or more). The thing that you notice or go for in an other half. Brown hair, Blue eyes, Pink hair, pale skin, skinny, big, young, old. Maybe it's what they wear, Shell suits (get your head examined ), Goth, Indie. Maybe it's tattoos or piercings. In all, what's your thing? Mine's short hair (on women). Anything from a bob and shorter, except shaved off.

They start showing super interest. Then i think to myself... "hey i think she might be seriously into me, thats great! Hey guys im thinking of taking the little lady out to see that new Tom Hanks movie, now I know its not his best but is it a good couples movie? Or should i just stick to a good old fashioned meal?

Has anyone every found their other half has been reluctant for them to join the police? So I've got this "friend" ( ) and she's going out with a met officer- but for some reason he's not loving the idea of her joining the police. His excuses are really, really lame.
