I have been to about a dozen speed dating events last year with speeddater.co.uk. I have a great time but this website is a bit of a scam because you need to pay to chat to women. So unless you actually get their contact details on the night you have to pay. I'm probably the stereotypical boring IT guy anyway lol.

Well the holiday season is well and truly upon us now. I'm just being nosy as usual, because it never really happened for me, so I just wondered if any of you have had a holiday romance or a 'fling'? Did it work out OK for you? Any regrets? Was it the holiday from hell?

This isn't an issue for me right now (but it has been in the past), but it's been brought to the forefront of my mind due to a mate's current situation. He was in a steady job working weekdays but unfortunately got laid off. He was the only earner, his wife stayed home all day doing the Facebook, and spending a little time on the housework and school runs when she'd finished the Facebook. My mate looked for work, he applied for anything and everything going, and within a few weeks he was back in work again working nightshifts. Instead of being grateful for having an income and all the other things that go with it, his wife has turned into a complete **** and just lays…

Is there anyone who has never really gotten over the end of a relationship. People always say that time heals all wounds but is that really accurate or are there some wounds that never really heal? My last proper relationship ended around 2 years ago and it still has quite a firm grasp of me. I'm not sure that'll ever change.

So my girlfriend confessed something to me last night On our first date she said she had a couple of 1st's as we were talking about qualifications etc Last night she confessed that she doesn't have them and never finished the courses. The reason she gave me is that she wanted to feel good about her self and make herself seem more appealing and she didn't think we would have got together and stayed together (been three months). I don't understand this, at all. It throws up more questions than it answers. Have to say that finally being honest is good, but to lie and play up the lie for so long is very bad. She pretty much knew confessing would break us up as she knows…

Clever pro-Gay marriage video and funny at that! Thought it would make sense to place it in the other half section considering the aspect of the video.

Hi guys So we all know about officers dating internally within their own police force and usually this is to do with the reason that it is easier dating within the force. However, I've not personally heard of any LGBT relationships going on between two officers and just wondered whether this is commonplace or whether the police service is institutionally homophobic? Thoughts and opinions from all walks of life welcome. - C

I have been having a discussion with my friend recently about the woes of women, and both of us seem to have fallen in the same trap. We had interest in a girl (different girls) We treated them nice We did nice things for them We picked up on hints Our interest gained ground We played along trying to figure out where it was going and what was happening We did nice things for them They then friend zoned us or gave us excuses. During our discussion we came to the conclusing that we showed "too much" interest which killed off their interest. Now I don't think I did anything too drastic, I didnt swoon my love for her or do anything that would put her in an awkward …

So i was with a girl, she became pregnant, this was unplanned but we both agreed we wanted to go through with it. The girl by the way has bi-polar disorder. Then 5 months into the relationship, she splits up with me and said she was getting too stressed and needed some time away from me. We had been having a few arguments and were bith getting stressed, so i agreed it was for the best. She said hopefully we could work it out and be together in time for babys birth. Then within a week we were back together again.... and a few days after that she again said we should split up, but this time pernanently. Obviously i was heartbroken and hoped things may improve once the …

Hi guys and girls, the other day I was having a chat with somebody who very nearly joined the police several times himself and whose family had been in the police for a very long time. He told me that almost always, relationships are formed in the police and if you are in a relationship before joining, chances are you might not end up with that person after joining. He said that this is because you spend a lot of time with people in the police and you go through some very difficult emotional things that you wouldn't really be able to explain to a partner outside of the force. I have known police officers stick to other police officers as that becomes a large part of th…

A couple have been dating for the past two years, both deeply in love with each other. Person 'A' does not like sex, penetration or otherwise. Person 'B' likes it and enjoys it, where as person 'A' does not. Person 'B' is offered a 'blowjob' by a friend. Person 'B' takes the offer and receives the blowjob but it means and meant nothing. Would you say person 'B' has cheated or been stupid?

I was speaking to a female colleague earlier today and she was telling me what happens at "ladies nights" or hen-do's, so decided to do some research on other message boards such as this one http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=117939&sid=cf7d8b807b66567e0f7a5f6eae47bf61 (Warning: Some rude conversations taking place) to see if what she said is true... Now I'm not a prude in the slightest and believe people should be able to enjoy themselves on a night out, but does what's described in the above link actually happen on hen-dos / ladies nights / Ann Summers parties? Without being to graphic for those that don't fancy clicking the link, do "ladi…
