It has just come out that they are looking to approve that £5000 of members subs are to be spent on memorabilia pieces for retiring office holders in ibb .. Is this really what members want to see their cash being spent on ?

Having told the Home Affairs Committee, and his staff, that he would be applying for the permanent post as Director General of Border Force, Brian Moore has "had a change of heart" and decided to pursue other policing career options. http://www.telegraph...-continues.html He started on Day 1 with a new, tougher law enforcement ethos, but was rapidly over-ruled by Theresa May who insisted the Border Force focus on queue-busting at Heathrow rather than devoting resources to Immigration and Customs crime detection. Presumably, Brian Moore's vision of a professional law enforcement agency couldn't be reconciled with Theresa May's fear of media criticism over queues. I gues…

http://www.dailymail...ce-remarks.html Racist people are idiots. especially police officers; who should be setting an example. Two female police officers have been sacked after a colleague recorded them having a conversation in which one likened black people to gorillas and monkeys. Special Constable Rosanna Garofalo and WPC Joanna Sugda were in the changing room at Islington Police Station in March when a colleague left an iPhone on record in her locker at work. When the recording was played back, Garofalo was heard saying that black people 'all look the f*****g same. They all look like monkeys.' A disciplinary hearing heard how the officer sai…

I've been waiting for this story to break since we first heard about it in June. http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/Port-Dover-Police-unable-make-lawful-arrests-year/story-16895120-detail/story.html Port of Dover Police have a jurisdiction extending one mile from Dover Harbour Board property. In the past, they could transport arrested persons from the Docks to Kent Police's custody facility at Dover Police Station, within a mile of the port. Since November, Kent have closed Dover custody facility. The nearest facility is Folkestone, more than a mile away. As a consequence, if Port of Dover Police arrest someone in the port, their ability to keep them under arrest during tra…

See BBC news story. At last. Why has it taken so long? It is not new at all. While a Sergeant running a Divisional Information and Intelligence Unit on a central London Division from 1983 to 1985, I invented and developed such a system to predict acquisitive crime. I started with just paper and it worked. Later, I put the system onto a computer. Basically, I identified what crime would happen, where, and when. I just did not know who. There would then be a meeting to decide which of these crimes to target. I was given one PS and 8 PCs (2 off each relief) and they would first of all look at each of the targeted areas to identify possible causes and also suitable observa…

This article shows just how little Chief Officers understand Policing Football matches. His understanding of football and even referring to Hillsborough shows how out of touch Sir Peter Fahey is. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/news/s/1588858_greater-manchester-police-chief-constable-sir-peter-fahy-says-football-does-not-need-policing Is he aware of social problems and the pack mentality

I hope all those who thought the worst of him over Las Vegas will now realise that it was pre-deployment high-spirits. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2204712/Woman-falsely-claimed-raped-men-regretted-having-sex-jailed-years.html Dodd should have been given 5 years, 2 is far too short as she will only be inside for 12 months. Women like her are Scum, and she doesn't even have the integrity to say she was sorry.
