Residents found their car windows had been smashed Five men have been arrested after 67 vehicles were vandalised in one morning across Leicestershire. Police were inundated with reports of people having their windows smashed and tyres slashed in Leicester and villages in the Wreake Valley. Detectives, who said nothing was stolen from the vehicles, have appealed for more people to report Monday's damage. The men, aged 18, 19, 20, 21 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and remain in police custody. Last month a tribunal heard officers used anti-terror legislation in 2012 to find out the source of damaging leaks. A teenage boy accused of stabbing a police dog and his handler is expected to appear before magistrates later. The 16-year-old from Lewisham, south-east London, is charged with attacking the pair in Stevenage in the early hours of 5 October. PC Dave Wardell received a stab wound to his hand but PD (Police Dog) Finn was left with life-threatening injuries after beng stabbed in the head and chest. Both have now recovered and returned to the beat for the first time together late last month. Two police officers have been left red-faced after their parked car rolled down a hill and hit a taxi. Dashcam footage has been releases by 999 News that shows two officers getting out of the car at 1.30am on Monday in Newcastle City Centre.
