Hi all. I want a completely new career change, and location move, and Norwich is where I want to be (have family there) and I want to join the police force. I want to join the 2 year training and development course down there at Norwich but since they aren't open to applications on their website and their HR department were not very helpful via email or phone, I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Basically what are the chances of me (who has a career in IT), even though I am physically fit, hold a variety of life experiences etc etc (absolutely no experience with police force or first aid though etc) getting a place at the training and recruitment centre? Hi everyone! I start my specials training on the 17th of November, is there anyone else on here that starts then too? It's been ruddy ages since I applied!

I failed the Specials PIRT, I'm totally gutted! It was the Maths that I messed up on. I wish I could say it was down to not practising but I've been crunching numbers day in day out, which makes it worse. I get another shot at it in 3 months so we'll see what happens.
