Return to News 4 May 2018 Two Slovakian men living in Liverpool have been arrested in connection with the seizure of a machine gun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The weapon, a Slovakian-made Stribog SR9, was found by Border Force officers as they searched a VW refrigerated van on the evening of Monday 30 April. The weapon was loaded and hidden in a specially adapted concealment. Boxes and a bag containing magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were also recovered. Return to News 4 May 2018 A 42-year man from Rotherham has been found guilty of 17 child sexual abuse offences and sentenced to 25 years in prison as part of the National Crime Agency’s investigation into allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation in Rotherham. Tony Chapman, from Lindley Street in Eastwood, admitted 12 charges of indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 16 between February 1998 and January 1999 when he appeared at court on the 17 April.
