Hi there, my name is Lauren, I'm from the Merseyside area currently serving Cheshire Constabulary as a PCSO, soon to be starting as a PC in September. Looking forward to taking on a new challenge. Hoping one day to maybe branch off and work in traffic, mounted section or dog section. Not sure yet! I'm a bit of a petrol head and enjoy going to local motoring events. Also a bit of a horsey person too.

Greetings, I came across the forum whilst searching for information on the new 2015 CARE pension scheme that I along with many others was transferred into last year. As the name suggests I'm a mid service Met PC - I spent the first half of my service on a response team before making the move to town centre/neighbourhood policing teams six years ago. As with many other officers across the country in the recent climate of policing cuts I find myself questioning my plans for the future, so I'm here to learn and share with others who are in the same boat. Good to meet you all !

Hi folks, I'm a serving PC with PSoS, having served 4 years. I'm joining this forum to talk all things Policing, however i wish to apply for a move to Australia when they are next recruiting in the UK and thought this forum may help with that too. I'm a time-served joiner too, but no longer meet the requirements for a visa, so i'm hopeful that soon they will recruit here. Fingers crossed! I look forward to speaking with you all. G
