Hi, I'm Lewis, I'm currently in college studying and I live within the Thames Valley in Berkshire. I'm looking at Policing as a career path after I leave college and thought this would be a good place to socialise on. I hope to contribute and learn more about the police forces as a whole. Cheers

Hi there, my husband has been made to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day? This doesn' seem fair as he requested one of those days off. Are they allowed to do this as it doesn' seem fair? Thanks all for your help in advance.

Hi, i am new to this forum, I am a serving police officer with 17 years service. Aged 39 years. I am after any advice or guidance on medical retirement. I was involved in a fatal collision on duty in 2014, I was on route to a emergency when a street drinker ran out In front of my patrol car. Ended up going over my car and despite giving him CPR he passed away in the road. This has completely changed the course of my life, I was outgoing and confident and now struggle with PTSD, chronic anxiety and stress. I have been going through the process of IHR and due to meet with the SMP in the next few months but have had no support or guidance with regards…
