Hi there, The situation I am in is a bit of a pickle, originally I wanted to join the royal marines and so have trained for 3 years in preparation for them, and I can pass the recruitment fitness tests for the royal marines exceptionally. However, that career has now gone down the drain as I am currently going through the procedures and diagnosis of very mild asthma, asthma Is a big NO in the armed forces, no ifs or buts. So I was wondering and/or hoping if this mild asthma will prevent me from joining the police or not? The police was always my second choice as i have always shown an interest in the law and law enforcement, I have an A level in Law. Fitnes…
