A police officer accused of killing newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson during the G20 protests in London in 2009 is to stand trial at the Old Bailey. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13839795 I doubt this Officer will get a fair trial, the media seemed to have convicted him already. We wish him well!!

Protesters supporting Julian Assange have clashed with police outside the Ecuadorian embassy where he is awaiting a ruling on his bid for asylum. Demonstrators, some wearing masks, were seen being hauled away by police who were in massed ranks outside the building in central London. http://news.sky.com/story/973139/assange-fighting-erupts-outside-embassy Not entirely sure why anyone would protest for this bloke. Sweden wants him for sex offences, America wants him for hacking. Can this fellow keep within the law at all. Of course this is assuming he is guilty of anything.

The RTC was on 7th February 2012, but she obviously is dragging it out until she has retired. I can never remember a simple Sec 3 taking nearly 12 months to come to court.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2190757/Camerons-reshuffle-chaos-Clarke-refuses-tells-PM-sacking-retoxify-Tory-party.html David Cameron will prove to the voters that he is a weak PM if he doesn't move Ken Clarke. Clarke is a soft man when it comes to punishment, and is a great 'lover' of the EU. Show a bit of steel Dave and sack Clarke, he is well past his sell by date.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/pc-blakelock-murder-charge-soon-203056461.html Detectives are poised to bring murder charges over the killing of Pc Keith Blakelock during the Broadwater Farm riots, it was reported tonight. The suspect, who was was under 18 at the time of 1985 riots, will be prosecuted over his involvement in one of Britain's most notorious unsolved murders, the Sunday Telegraph reported.
