I've just looked at a photo and watched a clip of video showing the alleged nazi salute. For what it's worth, my view, (and mine only) is that the guy was telling the truth when he gave his account of the situation. Apparently, he has made an allegation that his facebook account has been hacked in to, and has reported it to the police who are investigating it now. I only hope that the situation won't have any bearing on people who had intentions on voting for UKIP at the local elections. I just want all the other parties to have the fright of their lives at the (hopefully) good forthcoming results for UKIP.

Moves must be made to deploy resources more effectively in neighbourhood policing teams, argues think-tank. Single patrolling “in all but exceptional circumstances” should become the default position as senior officers grapple to do more with less, it has been claimed. A report released by right-of-centre think-tank Policy Exchange says that ensuring all resources are deployed as effectively as possible should be the cornerstone of the neighbourhood policing model in the wake of tight budgets. While single patrolling had been envisaged when the original model was drawn up over a decade ago, it had “yet to properly materialise,” the report highlighted. The ‘Rebooting …

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2316840/Convicts-denied-Sky-Sports-18-rated-DVDs.html#comments - How many times have we heard this, most incoming governments come out with this, trying to look hard and doing something. I will believe it when I see it. Prisoners have had it too easy inside for the last 25 years and it will be the same for the next 25. I can see if this does come about, prison riots on the horizon, and with fewer prison officers because of HMG's cuts, things could get very difficult.

I have long been an advocate that offenders/suspects should not be named until they have been found guilty of an offence. If someone is unfortunate enough to have a false allegation made and is subsequently found not guilty in court all to often they are not 'the person who was innocent of' but 'the person who got away with'. Peoples lives can be ruined by the stigma of being charged with something they are subsequently found to be completely innocent of - teachers maliciously accused of offences in school spring to mind, where they are latterly found to be completely innocent but still cannot get a job because their name is still assocated with a (false) accusation

Man dies after taser deployment..... I do hope the officers reposnsible used the taser in line with thier training. This type of thing, if it results in disciplinary action, will make others wish to give up their taser tickets.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-22370005-- She achieved her objective, she managed to put the Court case off for over 7 months so that if convicted she would not still be a serving officer. I wonder what would have happened if a PC had tried the same trick.

http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/26/couple-sit-down-to-dinner-in-the-middle-of-a-busy-london-road-3668492/ Warning: Video contains offensive language Weve all been there: Youve found the perfect spot to enjoy dinner with a friend and youre not going to let anyone get in the way even if youre in the middle of a road. This couple certainly didnt seem to mind the fact that they were annoying motorists and even the driver of a double decker bus during their unusual dinner date. The pair set up a table and childrens chairs in the road in Thornton Heath, south London and even got angry at the drivers they were holding up. The man in the video hit back at furious motorists who …

Man dies after taser deployment A man who was tasered by police during an incident in which he suffered serious burns has died, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has said. Andrew Pimlott (32) died on April 23 in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol. Devon and Cornwall Constabulary referred the incident to the IPCC after officers attended an address in Plymouth where Mr Pimlott was in the garden with a can of flammable liquid. Shortly after they arrived, Mr Pimlott sustained serious burns. It is known that a taser was deployed during the incident on April 18 and this will be investigated as a possible cause of ignition. IPCC Commissioner Sarah Green said: “My con…
