    Hi folks - I'm a new member, not a police officer, just hoping for some insight from the professionals. I've been reading about the shooting of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson in Fergusson, Missouri (more detail here for anyone who's not followed the news). It seems that Officer Wilson initially challenged Brown because he was walking in the road, then realised he was the perpetrator of a robbery nearby, so attempted to arrest him.
