Young offenders from ethnic minorities will become "the next generation" of criminals unless the justice system is reformed, says MP David Lammy. A review led by him found the system in England and Wales is biased and discriminates in treatment of people from ethnic minority backgrounds. Police in Norfolk have apologised for the way they responded to a weekend of rape, assault and theft that left a seaside town on 'lawless lockdown' last month. Full Story - Daily Mail I admit i don't know much about travellers, however it seems in this incident Norfolk Police initially did not want to blame a whole community for the rape and other crimes, hence they downplayed it as "low level disorder" however now they have admitted it was the whole travelling community responsible for the trouble over the 3 days, hopefully prosecutions will follow.
