Examples of crashes and astonishing near-misses caught on drivers' dashcams have been released by police to discourage erratic driving. Forces in Norfolk and Suffolk said they received about 150 videos a month from the public - double the amount from last year. Return to News A 55 year-old man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for sexual activity with a child, following a National Crime Agency investigation into allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation in Rotherham. The offences against a girl who was aged 15 when the abuse first started, took place between 2004 and 2007. The investigation proved Darren Hyett, who was aged 41 at the time, targeted and groomed the 15-year-old girl. Bradley Tout escaped from custody yesterday moments after being convicted for rape. He managed to vault the dock and evade court officials and prison guards. No police officers were present when he made his escape. Tout had just been sentenced to seven and half years and is believed to be being assisted as a fugitive. West Mercia Police are going to pull out of an alliance with Warwickshire Police which they've been in for five years. West Mercia Police's chief constable and police and crime commissioner say the move is to be "more effective and efficient" in what they do and to save money.
