A man has been charged with drugs and firearms offences following an investigation by the Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) – a joint National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police Service unit. Rafal Jancz, 34, of North London, was arrested yesterday (27 May) in Exeter by Devon & Cornwall Police officers following information supplied by the OCP. Officers seized cocaine from his car. As he was arrested, OCP officers searched his home on Clarence Road in North London and seized a firearm – a Bruni model 92 pistol – with a magazine and 20 rounds of ammunition. A British man has been arrested in Barcelona on suspicion of conspiring to murder two men in the UK. Working with the National Crime Agency (NCA) and Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Spanish National Police officers arrested Jamie Rothwell, 33, at an apartment block on Sunday morning. Rothwell, from Salford, Greater Manchester, was wanted by Greater Manchester Police and a European Arrest Warrant had been issued in October 2019. A man has been charged after an investigations by the Organised Crime Partnership – the joint National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police fight against serious organised crime. Amir Shkrela, 27, of London E17, was arrested last night and allegedly found in possession of three kilos of cocaine, £200,000 and a false identity document. He was charged with drug supply offences, money laundering and possession of a false identity document and remanded in custody. He will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. An alleged drugs trafficker who has been wanted since 2013 was traced and arrested as he celebrated his 45th birthday. David John Walley was arrested by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) on Thursday at a property in Alderley Edge near Manchester. Walley was wanted by the National Crime Agency for alleged trafficking of cocaine and MDMA and possession of false identity documents. National Crime Agency officers have arrested two men and a woman after £62,700 cash was seized as part of an operation into drugs supply and money laundering in Birmingham. A man, 27, and woman, 24, were stopped by Central Motorway Police Group officers, travelling together on the M6 at j10 yesterday evening (Thursday 21 May). The woman was found with £2,700 cash and a further £30,000 was discovered in the glovebox of the car.
