Mykal Trim, who is based and lives in Lowestoft, appeared at Norwich Crown Court in relation to a road traffic incident involving a marked police car and another car in the early hours of Saturday, February 14, in Tom Crisp Way, Lowestoft. Two policemen are still in hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a Mitsubishi Evolution and a police car early on Saturday morning. A 28-year-old man from Great Yarmouth has been released on bail after he was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop for police. The Mitsubishi failed to stop for police in Belvedere Road, Lowestoft. Four men were injured after it was followed and collided with a marked police car in Tom Crisp Way. Two passengers from the Mitsubishi have been released from James Paget Hospital in Gorleston in Norfolk and are not facing charges. Menezes family and police agree compensation deal The Metropolitan Police has reached a compensation deal with the family of Jean Charles de Menezes, mistakenly shot dead by officers in July 2005. Relatives of the Brazilian, who was gunned down at Stockwell Tube station in south London, had been locked in a legal battle with the force. Policeman Martin Forshaw has pleaded guilty to murdering his police constable fiancee Claire Howarth. Claire Howarth died in hospital following a car crash in Bolton in May Forshaw, 27, of Meadow Way, Tottington, Bury, admitted killing 31-year-old PC Howarth, on the day his trial was due to start at Manchester Crown Court.
