Evening all, Thought this would be the place to stick a question that has been bugging me: I have sent off for the application and started filling it in when I got a sheet of paper asking me to sign to say I could commit two solid weeks and six consecutive weekends training. Now, I work Monday to Friday at Rolls-Royce in Derby, and have no issues with giving up a stack of weekends, but I feel my manager is not going to allow me time off for the two week block, especially as I am studying a degree part time, funded by the Company. Hi people Iv recently joined Derbyshire constab as police staff and wanting to know if there is a local specials coordinater or such in D division who I could direct some questions at. Iv looked on the force intranet but doesn't seem to be too helpful. I'm currently a special at Lancashire as I travel back home most weekends, but wanted to ask about duel force membership and also if derbyshire support ESP. If someone's knows a name or a collar number it be very helpful. Thanks Shaun

2012 Derbyshire Police Officer Recruitment- Hi, hope anyone can help? Derbyshire Police have just finished a Police Officer recruitment campaign, stating: “The force’s Police Officer recruitment line has now closed, with all 750 application packs being allocated.” Did anyone get one of these application packs? If so, would you be able to post the main questions asked. (If this hasn’t changed, these are in the Section 4 part of the application). This would be of great benefit in understanding what the forces are now looking for and if anything, what has been revised and updated from previous application packs. -Many thanks! :new_yummy:

Just posting to see andhopefully share peoples opinions of the Derbyshire police officer interviews currently commencing at the Ripley HQ if you got that far? Had mine yesterday, ive come out wishing I said more but guess thats a natural feeling! i hate the waiting around for the final answer!! Other than just the scoring how else do they assess you if a few people have the same score?

Listening to Peak FM today and the recruitment freeze will be lifted and more regulars will be taken on in April 2012 apparently. Good news!!

Hey everybody. Just wondered if anybody knew why we dont get issued with shiny new police badges anymore. Really anoys me as i have no where to put it when im out on duty, cus i dont like taking my wallet out. Any body know if its possible to get one from HQ or something? Cheers
