I've never been a fan of PCCs and think they're a complete waste of money. However, I was particularly annoyed at Cambridgeshire's recent choice who whilst campaigning to be PCC made a some pretty inappropriate tweets, joking that "pikeys" should be given some tarmac to lay, and about "Spanish asylum seekers". However, I was astonished to read this justification to the press: Funnily enough, police officers have been sacked for precisely that. Someone get that man a copy of the Code of Ethics.
