The suggestion that officers will hesitate to use their powers in case they get investigated. What would officers like to happen, that would make them not hesitate in using their powers? I know it can't be nice having the IOPC on your case but if an officer is accused of wrongdoing doesn't that accusation need to be properly investigated?
