A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a policewoman was found at a house in Manchester. Police discovered the body of the 37-year-old woman after they were called to Osborne Road, Longsight, at 9.15am on Tuesday. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody for questioning. "Inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman's death are underway. The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) said Ian McPherson will be responsible for the delivery of borough policing in the £176,943-a-year post. A man has been charged with murdering a 17-year-old who was stabbed after breaking into a house in Nottingham. Omari Roberts is accused of stabbing Tyler Juett, 17, and a 14-year-old as they broke into the house in Heathfield Road, Old Basford, on 13 March. Mr Juett, of Aspley, died later at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre. The Crown Prosecution Service said 23-year-old Mr Roberts' alleged actions were "not reasonable" and he should face prosecution. As well as the murder charge, Mr Roberts, 23, of Heathfield Road in Old Basford, is accused of wounding with intent.
