The 22-year-old rider was treated at the scene but despite the best efforts of medical staff sadly passed away. The man, thought to be in his 30s, broke into a property on Tamar Road around 5pm and stabbed the two occupants, both men, before stealing their vehicle. He attempted to rob a local convenience store in Shannon Drive before driving off and colliding with an ambulance responding to the stabbing, on Wilkin Road.
